Characteristics of family entrepreneurship - Growing up with entrepreneurship

Most family business managers are male, which is justified in the traditional observation of roles in family tasks. Also, a large number of family business founders had contact with entrepreneurship while growing up, that is, their parents had experience in entrepreneurship, or had a role model in entrepreneurship in the immediate environment. Family entrepreneurship is characterized by the need to assess the knowledge and skills of the next generation, so that those who recognize themselves as future leaders can be identified in a timely manner and ensure business continuity, as well as fair treatment of individuals. Otherwise, if they cannot find adequate successors among the family heirs, in terms of operations management, entrepreneurs must hire managers who will, from the ”earliest days” in the company direct and shape, and ultimately, treat them as family members, and at the appropriate time, leave to run a business.
