Factors development of women entrepreneurship and - Institutional and legal framework

The analysis of the factors that globally affect women's entrepreneurship is covered by GEM . Based on the results of the analysis, the factors that influence women's entrepreneurship can be classified into three categories: institutional, demographic, economic. [26] Institutional and legal frameworks play an important role in women's entrepreneurship. Namely, if gender equality is recognized and institutionalized in most countries, its application in the economy and society can still lead to overt or covert discrimination against women. An underdeveloped institutional framework may limit the formal integration of women in a market economy, due to redefined and changed gender roles, limiting their access to external resources needed to realize business ventures, and attributing them to a hostess role that may conflict with entrepreneurial activities.
