Success factors for family entrepreneurship - key features of an adequate successor

The fact is that when selecting future leaders of the company, their traits will be especially appreciated, such as: strategic orientation, market orientation, result orientation, propensity for team work, ability to adapt. However, when it comes to family-owned businesses, people who understand the dynamics of ownership of the company should also be selected, accepting the fact that they will be responsible for multi-generational generations and whose value system ”fits in” with the company's value system. The key qualities that must be embellished by future leaders of family businesses include the following: respect, integrity, quality, humility, passion, modesty and ambition.
