Success factors for family entrepreneurship - successor inclusion

The simplest scenario would be if the heirs of the family business were professional and motivated to ”get a job”. However, very often it is necessary to separate the family from work, that is, to hire experts - professional managers. However, even when owners try to engage those who share the value system of the company and provide support for the involvement of engaged professionals, problems can arise, first and foremost, from the manager's perspective. According to the survey, as many as one quarter of managers said they had problems engaging in family business for the following reasons: uncertainty about the level of autonomy, hidden agendas, lack of dynamics and the potential for nepotism and irrational decisions.
